20 times to the CWS is impressive

This is FSU's 20th trip to the College World Series. How in the world have you guys not won it at least once? I actually feel bad even though I'm a Miami fan. I hate the fact we got knocked out by the Gators so hopefully you guys can knock them out, but what do you think your guys chances are this year?

Be ready for the Gators to end both the season of Miami and FSU this year. Gators are playing some of the best baseball they have played in years. Yes, I know, FSU beat us 3 of 4 this year. I respect that, but we have been on a tear lately and are peaking at the right moment. Can't wait to get a title in each of the big 3 sports before FSU can even get to 2.

I think this is the Gators 6th trip to the CWS. Hopefully they bail out early. At least if they win a title in baseball most of the bandwagon fans won't even realize it so I won't hear anything about it.

Well at least we knocked out the Gators. However, Noles are now 0-20 in the CWS and Mike Martin is I believe 0-14. It's strange how you sort of get used to losing in the CWS. I wonder if we will ever win there.

GoGators, I don't think you have to remind Seminole fans. It has to be a curse, it's the only way it can be explained. I guess the question you have to ask yourself as a Florida State fan is if you would rather FSU go to the CWS and win it once every 15 years with a great team and maybe only make the tournament itself every 3 or 4 years and make the CWS once every 8 years or something. Or would you rather them make the tournament every year and make a trip to the CWS every few years?
Basically would you want them to be a contender once a decade or 8 times a decade, but that once a decade run gave you a title every other decade?
It's a tough call. Realistically it would be nice to have the best of both worlds and it would be nice to just win it once to get the monkey off our backs. I think if FSU could go in there and win it once it might begin a streak of 3 or 4 championships in a 10 year span.
