Is there even a point in ranting about this? This is the second week in a row the Pac-10 Referees defeated an opponent. USC, on the other hand, is 0-2. The problem, I believe, is that the Trojans probably bought their games in bulk. Now that the NCAA has lobotomized the team, they no longer have the will to win but are still owed a couple. Lets just see how far they let this go. Its easy to give them the game against teams like Hawaii and Virginia. They may even need to lend a hand against Minnesota this week, but Notre Dame will demolish them. Lucky for the conference, they only need to be held up one more week before they can allow the Pac 10 to pull them to pieces. I just hope there's a lobsided line in there early because I'm jumping on that one.
Lets get to the point. USC vs Hawaii -video-
This was absolutely awful. There's just no way you can watch this in slow motion and not say he was in the endzone. Had they actually called this a TD, the halftime score would have been 21-27. A very close game. The referees stole all the momentum with this call.
USC vs UVA -video-
There was obviously a problem with this game. The Pac-10 has reprimanded and suspended the officiating crew for an incorrect call during a fake kick against Virginia. The video linked displays a catch that was ultimately ruled incomplete.
But this is nothing new to the college football world. Just type "Pac-10 officiating" into YouTube and you'll be given years of ammunition against the conference. I'm actually on the verge of deleting this article as I'm convinced it fails to meet the criteria of being considered "News" but I'll just post it and neglect all grammar or spelling checks. I've wasted enough time
